No sources, other that antonymous poster, wrote this indicating he may have been born in France: “He was less than three years of age when with his parents, he landed in Philadelphia, from there they went to Newburyport, MA, where they died. In his twentieth year he moved to PA and settled at Driftwood, PA.”
