He was the husband of the late Anita (Provencher) Cabana, who died June 23, 2006. He lived in Nashua for most of his life and before his retirement had been employed by the B&M and Rider Bus Co. and the Nashua School Department. He was a co-owner of the former Cabana Sausage Co. on Chestnut Street. He was a member of the Club National, Lafayette Club, Club Social and Nashua Lodge of Elks No. 720. He was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church. Family includes two daughters, Annette Bouvier of Dunedin, Fla., and Carol Hjelm of Merrimack; one son, Raymond Cabana of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Ernest Cabana and Roland Cabana, both of Mesa, Ariz., and Adrien Cabana of Plant City, Fla.; one sister, Yvette Baker of St. Petersburg, Fla.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Visiting hours are Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis St., Nashua. Burial will be held at a later date. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Theresa M. (Fournier) Cabana, 92, of Escondido; son Robert (Constance) Cabana of Tampa, FL; and daughter Louise (Herbert) Reutter of Escondido. Family includes granddaughter Heather (William) McIlmoil of Oceanside, CA; grandsons Daniel (Shamean) Reutter of Santa Monica, CA, Joseph (Jennifer) Reutter of Ocean Beach, CA, and Anthony (Kurri) Cabana of Bedford, NH; and great-grandchildren Parker McIlmoil, Carlee McIlmoil, Genevieve McIlmoil, Felix Reutter, Beau Reutter, Sophia Cabana and Nicholas Cabana. Adrien was born in Brownington Center, Vermont, to Adelard and Eva (Frappier) Cabana. After moving to Nashua, they grew the Pine Street Market into the family business, Cabana Sausage Company (Once Tried, Always Satisfied). He met his wife, Theresa, when she invited him to her high school prom. From then on they were inseparable and were married October 3, 1942, both were 19. Cabana Sausage passed on to Adrien and his brothers, Ernest and Leo. They produced sausage for 30 years until 1977. Adrien retired (Nashua Corporation - 1987) and moved to Plant City, FL. In April 2014, they moved to Escondido, CA to live with their daughter and son-in-law. He was the last Cabana of his generation and was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers Leo, Frank, Earnest and Roland, and sisters Jeanette and Yvette. Like his brothers he served during WWII (Army Air Corp). 6.
